Crushing Operations: The following position is at a customer jobsite in North East, MD: Position is “Utility/Plant Personnel” Experienced and entry-level positions available; crushing plant operation and maintenance; mobile equipment operation; and general labor as needed.
Service Technician, Eastern NJ and Southeast Region: Five or more years of industrial experience required. Specific skills needed include mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, welding, diagnostic and general maintenance. This position is responsible for the effective repair of rock crushing equipment and components at high levels of quality in the field. This individual must be able to work with minimal supervision; maintain good working records for time, parts, and supplies; maintain care of shop tools, equipment, and vehicles; maintain a work environment in a clean and safe manner; perform diagnostic inspections as directed; and communicate professionally.
Manager, Parts Sales: Grow Mellott Company Parts & Service Business to levels established by owners and executive management. Increase the value and recognition of the Mellott Company Brand by promoting aftermarket and other core services. Create a proactive, aggressive, and motivated Parts Sales Department. Establish and measure monthly customer service standards, e.g. market share, response time to quote, inventory, prospects, lost sales (by type), etc. Secure additional business for our parts and service segments through value added relationships and promotional campaigns. Increase Non-Metso parts and service business by taking advantage of global part-sourcing opportunities. Manage and optimize parts inventory at company locations, resulting in increased parts availability from stock and improved inventory turns. Handle all customer service issues as it relates to product support (parts sales), Ensure all customer parts credits and warranty transactions are handled properly within time measurement. Review monthly inventory reports and work with material control department for improvements. Generate ideas to improve level of product support. Provide product and sales training to personnel to improve skills and knowledge. Define timeline and inform sales engineers of potential equipment, parts, service, or customer opportunities. Coordinate delivery of customer parts with warehouse personnel Review the customer back-order report on a daily basis to improve delivery times. Improve and recover all freight charges related to parts sales and inventory. Define margin and execute. Create monthly promotional special by manufacturers to improve parts sales or profits. Manager, Service: This skilled, administrative, and supervisory position is responsible for the coordination and inspection of equipment repairs and services made by our service technicians; the coordination of replacement parts and supplies working through the department’s inventory; and monitoring departmental functions. Direction may be given to all subordinate staff, including office support staff as well as all service/maintenance staff. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in heavy duty equipment, commercial vehicles, or construction equipment - 2 years administrative work experience in a service oriented environment and 2 years supervisory work experience Proficient computer capabilities and ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are required. Manager, Sales Account: Currently seeking a salesperson for the NY, eastern PA and northern NJ sales territory. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer base in the region; selling parts, service, environmental, and screen media to support the aggregates, industrial, and power industries. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, a strong sales acumen, and 3-5 years sales experience, preferably in the aggregates industry. Knowledge of construction equipment and local customer base is desired. Proficient computer capabilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are required. Successful candidate must reside in sales territory.
Assistant Manager, Operations: Currently seeking an individual to learn and grow a career within Contract Crushing that leads to a plan of succession. Gain knowledge and experience required for promotion within Operations under direction of more experienced personnel. The job will require interaction with all departments of Mellott Company and Contract Crushing customers. Proficient computer capabilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment are required. Engineering degree in mining, civil, or mechanical required. 3–5 years of industry operations experience preferred.
Manager, Supply-Chain: This individual will be a working manager with supervisory responsibility over two experienced buyers. This position will require knowledge and experience in procurement of equipment, parts, materials, services, and supplies. Qualifications include 5 or more years of experience in pricing and contract negotiations, buyer development, and purchasing ethics. Knowledge and experience with modern ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems is required. This position has a significant opportunity to contribute to the company’s bottom line and requires a strong, results-oriented professional. Bachelor of science degree in business management, or related field of study; certification in purchasing is required. Ability and willingness to travel required.
Analyst, Market: Develop and analyze market data and recommend strategies that would improve sales.
