Metso board of directors visits Mellott Company
WARFORDSBURG, Pennsylvania--The Board of the Metso Corporation as well as the Metso President and CEO, and Metso CFO recently toured the Mellott Company’s headquarters in Warfordsburg, PA. Prompting the visit was Metso’s recognition of Mellott Company as Metso’s Outstanding Distributor of the Year. Consequently, the board members were eager to see Mellott Company in person, to get a first-hand look at what makes Mellott Company the leading North American distributor for Metso, and how the two companies are aligned with each other.
The Metso visitors were treated to a thorough tour of the facilities located at Mellott Company’s Warfordsburg campus, as well as presentations about the several Mellott operations located off-campus, such as the Mellott Southern Service Center, located in Marion, NC. The tour visited several areas of the 50-acre-campus and saw operations in the repair and maintenance shops, warehouse, application engineering, and fabrication shop.
Processing construction aggregates and minerals is Mellott Company’s main focus of core competency, which is derived from our experienced workforce and thousands of application challenges resolved.
