For many years Mellott Company has presented the “Herman B. Mellott Scholarship Awards” to assist Southern Fulton High School students who chose to further their educations. It has been an honor and privilege this year for Mellott Company to work with the 2013 Southern Fulton Senior Class on our company’s values, which are: Safety, Integrity, Commitment, Respect, and Excellence. Each student was asked to develop a senior project and prepare a presentation on how he or she recognized and applied a particular value or set of values in his or her life. After evaluating these projects and presentations, Mellott Company awarded one $2,000 scholarship for each of the five values to the student who most comprehensively presented an appreciation for, and understanding of, that value. We wish these amazing graduates all the best.

Good luck and, in the words of Sheryl Sandberg, “Lean in!”.
