Mellott Comes in Clutch with Sweet Treats!
Pictured are Mellott System Engineer, Jason Schetrompf, his son Hayden, and wife Jamie after graduation on June 3rd.
Mellott has always been a company that is very involved with the community, especially the local students, and schools in which they attend. Thursday, June 2, 2022, Central Fulton had their yearly graduation party for the graduates. Traditionally, the Class Officers organize and put on the event to give students a safe place to celebrate their graduation.
The Class Officers encourage people to attend by having local business provide prizes and gift bag items for each graduate. Donated items like luggage sets, smart TVs, mini refrigerators, apple watches, air pods and cash, were awarded to graduates during the party. Some of the companies that contributed are JLG, American Legion, Bunch Construction, Mellott and many more. Molly Deneen, Talent Acquisition Specialist at Mellott, said, “Mellott helped to fund the desserts for the table. I think they did a great job of setting the table up and helping us, hopefully recruiting some good candidates for the future!”
Jason Schetrompf, Application Engineer here at Mellott said, “The MHS graduation party is a great way to allow the community and businesses to show appreciation for the students and their accomplishments throughout high school, while also providing the students a safe and enjoyable atmosphere to celebrate as a group before they take the next step toward a career or continuing education.” Jason’s son, Hayden, was the class Salutatorian and the Class President. He will be attending Shippensburg University, majoring in chemistry. Mellott congratulates all the local graduates and wishes them good luck.Back to news
