Each school year, Mellott Company works with the Southern Fulton High School seniors, mentoring them on our 5 values: Safety, Integrity, Commitment, Respect, and Excellence. 2018 marked the 25th anniversary of Mellott Company’s involvement with Southern Fulton. The program was built on the ideal that local industry and education can achieve better results together.

Each senior is asked to complete a senior project on how he or she recognized and applied one of Mellott’s five values. Students who are choosing to pursue higher education can submit their project for evaluation. Mellott Company evaluates and awards a winner for each value.  Each recipient will receive a $2000 Herman B. Mellott Scholarship. In order to receive the award, the student must show a comprehensive appreciation for and understanding of the value of their choice.

The 2018 recipients are:

Safety:                                                                  Kody Ward

Integrity:                                                             Cooper Grove

Commitment:                                                   Janelle Appel

Respect:                                                              Madison Spade

Excellence:                                                         Zoie O’Neal

We would like to congratulate  the Southern Fulton Class of 2018 and wish them luck in all of their future endeavors!
